The principle of interpretation consists in explaining the text under consideration by other biblical texts. Among all the texts using the same words or carrying the same ideas, there is always one, sometimes several, that will be privileged because they are parallel in several ways. They present multiple convergences with the text studied.<\/p>\n

The subjects of choice treated here are the books of the Apocalypse of John and the prophet Daniel and the theme of the heavenly sanctuary. These studies make use of all the canonical biblical texts, including the Hebrew canon of the Old Testament. For the New Testament, the 27 books of the Christian canon as defined by the councils of the end of the 4th century are retained.<\/p>\n

We cannot recommend enough a personal study of the Scriptures. All the commentaries, including those found on this site, cannot replace the personal appropriation of the treasures contained therein. The content of this site is intended to be an aid to aspiring seekers and has no other claim than its sincerity as a researcher for other seekers of truth.<\/p>\n
